CPD Seminar In Bristol
A seminar taking place at Brunel’s SS Great Britain, Bristol on Wednesday 17 May is attracting lots of interest from the Bristol construction community.
Hosted by one of the world’s leading soil mixing ground remediation contractors, Deep Soil Mixing Ltd, the topic of the seminar that has got everyone interested, focuses on ‘Tackling Complex Land Remediation Problems’ and how the construction industry can remediate Brownfield sites in an environmental and sustainable way through the use of soil mixing.
The lunchtime CPD seminar is free to attend and will include demonstrations by Deep Soil Mixing Directors Robert McGall and Colin Critchlow on their latest techniques as well as highlights from a few innovative projects the company has recently undertaken.

Soil mixing is a relatively new civil engineering method to the UK but we have already demonstrated how environmentally friendly, cost effective and time saving construction method it is and during the seminar we will demonstrate how soil mixing assisted the construction of the Mersey Gateway Crossing in Cheshire, as well as touching on other exciting, innovative projects that we’ve delivered including a project with a Newport County Council Landfill site and a recent Institute of Highways Engineers sustainability and environmental award winning road project in the West Midlands and the remediation of severely contaminated ground at a major manufacturing site in the South East.”
