Deep Soil Mixing Ltd (DSM) was set up in 2012 by two industry stalwarts, Robert McGall and Colin Critchlow to further expand the use of soil mixing and soil stabilisation as ground improvement techniques in the construction industry. With over 75 years combined experience in ground engineering and construction we have significantly broader experience in applying soil mixing and soil stabilisation techniques than the other main ground engineering firms.

Because we concentrate uniquely on deep soil mixing and soil stabilisation, we are able to offer very personalised services and our directors work directly with our clients.

In the past, soil mixing has sometimes been overlooked in cases when ground conditions were considered too problematic, but since 2012, we’ve come up with some remarkable advances in the technology to overcome these problems. We are becoming renowned for successfully undertaking challenging and difficult projects that others may not wish to do and we can demonstrate the impact this is making in the world of civil engineering and illustrate how new soil mixing techniques can transform severely contaminated or poor quality land into commercially viable land that can be developed.
