Geotechnical Laboratory Technician Required
As one of the leading ground remediation companies in the UK, Deep Soil Mixing is growing and we require a Geotechnical Laboratory Technician to work full time in our laboratory at Greenfield, Bedfordshire.
The Role
As well as laboratory work, your role will also involve travel to some construction sites to collect soil samples to test at the laboratory so having a car is essential.
As a Laboratory Technician you will manage the overall operations in the geotechnical laboratory. You will ensure that all testing, and related activities, are performed as efficiently as possible in relation to given deadlines and are consistent with relevant processes and procedures. Additionally, you will work to maintain the highest levels of safety and testing standards in accordance with Company procedures and policies.
Who we’re looking for:
Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience (desirable)
We are looking for someone who is just qualified or in their initial stages.
Theoretical/practical knowledge of soil testing, understanding of geotechnical projects (desirable)
